Final preparations are underway for our trip tomorrow. We have made great strides in the packing department. Now we just have to make sure the bags don't weigh in at 100 lbs! It's amazing what a person can get into a bag once it is folded and rolled. Of course most of the bags are filled with Jia gear. Clothes, toys, diapers, medicine cabinet, personal care, bottles, food, etc. You'd think we're heading to a remote jungle area instead of a city of 10 million! There is a Starbucks down the road from our hotel for heaven's sake! But better safe than sorry - we're taking enough stuff to get us through the first couple of days until we can hit the local Walmart (yes, there is a Walmart too - no real surprise there - except I think they also sell fish heads in addition to diapers - all at low, low prices I'm sure).
I've attached some random pictures including some of Jia's room and our packing endeavors! I want to extend a special thank you to Jia's Aunt Laura for the beautiful 100 Good Wishes quilt hanging above the bed. It's incredible and gets me misty everytime I read it.

Beth and T this quote says it all
"We witness a miracle every time a child enters into life.
But those who make their journey home across time & miles,
growing within the hearts of those who wait to love them,
are carried on the wings of destiny and placed among us
by God's very own hands.

Have a wonderful time and enjoy every second.
It is Saturday, in the evening here and David and I are thinking of you. Hope your trip has been great.
I guess it's true... wallmart is taking over the world.
hope you enjoy your trip (and all of those low priced fish heads... yum) =]
Hi Beth and Terrel:
I have been thinking about you since you left. Glad see your long flight did not take away from your humor. I am so excited for you - as we all are. When at Wal-Mart, skip the fish heads and get some chocolate. Love, Dawn
