Here are a few more pictures of Jia. She is doing wonderfully! She's making amazing progress everyday. We are trying to work on strengthening her core muscles a bit as her months in an orphanage are a bit evident in her overall strength. She is such a dear and sweet baby that she likely was not the neediest of the group and she probably did not get tons of individual attention since the nannies are stretched so thin. But her sweet disposition leads me to believe she certainly was well loved. Terrell and I and Grandma Barbara fall in love with her more everyday. And with us she is exploring the world of Guangzhou and carrot babyfood! She has never had anything other than formula. She's a little unsure of the carrots but seemed to like them well enough after she got the idea of the spoon! Most ended up on her face rather than in her mouth! Jia's new mom has a lot of stuff I need to get more proficient at including bottle making, bathing, diapering, feeding, etc. She is a wiggly worm!! But she's very patient with us and is getting lots and lots of love! Hi to all at home. Miss you and can't wait to see you all soon.

Glad to hear all of you are doing well and adjusting to all the new changes occuring. Pictures look as if Jia is cutting teeth!?!? -and not too cranky - what a dream!
She sure is a cutie pootie. Have funny and look forward watching more of your "adventures."
Beth-you will get faster and faster at performing all those tasks. By the time you get home you will be able to change a diaper, type on the computer, talk on the phone, and cook at the same time!!!! (he-he) Thinking of you and sending love your way.
