Hi - sorry for the delay in updates. Jia is in full time care now as I mentioned earlier and I'm full focus back at work. Our first days of getting up and out by 7:30 am went reasonably well - Jia is having some sleeping issues for the first time and this is probably due to a combination of change in schedule and having a bit of a cold (her first since she's been with us!). All continues to be great - she loves hanging out with Aunt Lisa and her cousins and I already see advancement in her physical abilities. She wants so badly to chase after her cousins! She's crawling very quickly and wants to stand all the time. We're thrilled! She is definitely having her voice be heard and laughs and bounces all the time. I miss her terribly through the week but she is getting the stimulation she needs being around other kids and that is what is important. And we gets lots of play and kissy time when we're together. We're going to the boat for the first time this weekend! Weather is supposed to be great so we'll give this a go and see how she likes sailing! I'm a little nervous but that is to be expected. I'll have more pics and stories after the weekend!
You can see how clingy she is when she gets home - she wants to be literally ON me - the day she was most needing of me physically was after work Tuesday - she has gotten more used to the idea of spending the day without me throughout the course of the week. We're all adjusting!

Thanks Kathy! I've sent you an email from my work email address! I'd love to get in touch. Congrats on being in line. Heaven knows I know how long that line is! It will happen though - and when it does it is amazing!

I am trying to find the email that you had sent me and I am unable to locate. Would love to talk with you as it seems everyone ( except family) is so negative about chinas gov, I try to explain that china is fine and it is totally out of my hands, I have done my work!!! Yikes, 2 years down. LID is 8/29/06. Also, wanted to let you know we are friends with bill and margaret from your group. My husband works with bill at the hospital, at least until bill transferred. My husband was introduced to Katie- both of toyr china princesses are beautiful.

Hi Kathy - I sent an email to the one you noted in first comment. Sorry you didn't receive. I'll ask my dad to give Bob our number to give to you! We really, really like Bill and Margaret and have been meaning to get in touch. Life certainly changes once baby comes along - busy, busy and you wonder where the time goes!
